This government doing it’s best to ruin the country and our reputation overseas. Having said that I have witnessed too many acts of corruption to every buy that we were somehow more honest than other countries.

Anyway, my idea of a witty comment did not work and tone is hard on the internet. Sorry. I think maybe I need to stay out of the politics section!

Or maybe, just maybe learn what a joke looks like. That way when you say something no sane person would interpret as a joke you won’t have to write a post explaining your supposed joke.

That’s unnecessarily cruel. There’s no need to tell me I’m “no sane person” or to say I “need to learn what a joke looks like”, just because of one misunderstanding that I literally just apologized to you for straight away.

We’re on the same side about this issue. All I was trying to do, was agree with you and share ideas for how I think left wing people like me could maybe influence middle New Zealand to see how bad the fast track bill is.

I know I’m poorly socialized these days. I don’t get to practice much because I hardly ever get to have conversations irl any more, but it felt friendly here in lemmy.nz until right this moment.

I don’t know if you’re having a bad day or if it’s always like this, but I just… Idk, I don’t come here to get into arguments and be called names, it’s depressing, so I won’t be doing this with you any more.

Anyway, thank you for all the articles you posted in recent months. I have really enjoyed reading them and your thoughts. Nga mihi.

Why are you so fragile? Why are you willing to dish it out but the minute anybody pushes back you start whinging about how poor little you are being abused on the internets.
