Exact same. Two thumbs when typing longer responses or when both hands are free. One handed always swiping unless I need to type an uncommon word or name.
So I picked one up on your recommendation. Using it on Windows. A little bummed it isn’t natively reprogrammable, but comfort wise it is essentially identical to my old MS explorer. The soft touch finish is a bit slippery out of the box, so my hand has a tendency to slide down after a few seconds. We’ll see how that works long term. I am finding the wireless connectivity to work pretty well.
I’ve been using trackballs for over 20 years and much prefer them to mice for work (I do use a mouse for gaming though). After my MS Trackball explorer died, I went through a few others, and currently use an Elecom Huge as my main trackball, which is quite good.
This looks a lot like a clone of the MS trackball explorer, though, which I LOVED….I may need to pick one up.
Why not just get keys? But this whole situation is a bit weird.
Looks like Emilia Clarke.
The simple rule of thumb is: if you are in a full service sit down restaurant (waiter takes order and then brings you your food, tipping is expected, and not doing so is seen as a major dick move, because it directly stiffs the waitstaff. The only time you should not tip in this situation is if the service is absolutely horrible.
Any other situation, like ordering at a counter and then going to get your food, or any fast food, tipping may be offered as an ask on the kiosk, but it’s never expected (not in my opinion deserved.).
But simply: if you are waited on, too 20% and be done with it.
I played the absolute shit out of this game. Was probably the first game that consumed me for quite some time. The track editor made for endless fun.
I remember playing this with my friend in the early 90s. Was such a fun little game.
Memmy all day. I have both Memmy and Mlem and Memmy started later and is already more polished and feature rich. The dev is exceptionally responsive.
Wow. Thanks for the very fast fix! Amazing work on this app.
With the latest version, my comment collapsing has gone completely wonky. Can’t tap to collapse and expand any more. A very slight swipe right to left seems to collapse most of the time, but I can’t find any way to so sister my expand. Would much rather have the old tap to collapse.
Memmy is already shaping up as a great client. Already very full featured. And with how fast the dev is updating, it’ll be awesome.
How can you tell what version your instance uses?
I can’t believe how good this app has become in such a short period of time. Thanks for all your hard work!
Memmy on iOS. Already pretty polished, and more so than Mlem (though I hope development on both continues…choice is good!) Dev is updating very regularly too.
Mlem is Ok, but still lacks way too man QOL features. I found Memmy as well, which is a bit newer, but also seems to be way more polished already, and the dev does updates almost daily. Already has listed communities, search, a working feed that doesn’t duplicate, and blurred NSFW.
Yep. I have accounts on three instances, but I had been using my Lemmy.World one the most, and then suddenly my beehaw communities are gone. It’s not a huge deal given that these accounts are so young, but it was still annoying. These sorts of things will prevent Lemmy from growing as an overall community.
This is the Mlem sub, though, discussing the iOS Lemmy app.
Same. Otherwise I’d have the door closed.
