1 year agoHey OP! I’m sorry you’re going through this and I’m in no way excusing the healthcare system in this country, i hate it more than anyone else, but what I believe is happening is that your insurance isn’t covering CVS, not the treatment and appointment itself.
If you call your insurance, they should give you a list of urgent cares and walk-ins that’ll be within your network. You may also just be able to google (insurance) in network walk-in clinics and see what’s available.
I grew up in Florida and funnily enough most of the teachers didn’t care, some even encouraged us to think about why we do it and make a decision for ourselves. I’m 28. I’m sure they all moved out of state or got fired by now.
