Sorry guys I’ve been a bit slack on the daily posts. I’ve been unwell all week.
Anyone had a better week? Any exciting plans for the weekend?
Must be something going around, I was also sick 2 weeks ago and it took almost a week and a half to feel better.
The weather getting colder wasn’t helping either.
Oh I was hoping to feel better by Monday or earlier. I hope it’s not longer!
It was weird, I felt better for a couple of days then worse again for a few days. Hopefully yours is something else!

Cheers! My wife wants me to come to a fancy dress party tomorrow night (not really my thing, but I could muster the enthusiasm) - we’ll see…
Its nail clipping day for my guinea pigs which means I’ve got to go to the supermarket and buy a bag of baby spinach leaves for then. Also going to clean their cage and let them run around the house if they let me trim all their nails.
This is the cutest.
I used to reward my old puss with a tsp of cream cheese after nail time.
That’s so cute! Do you have any pictures of them? My nieces had a pair years ago. I liked watching them do the popcorn dance when they were excited.

You wouldn’t believe how high they can jump. Mine can easily jump over their 30cm high wall. But they never try to escape out of their house only jump it when trying to get back in.
Exciting! How often do you need to clip their nails?

Oh also, an update on the saga with Lemmy.world federation inbound to Lemmy.nz. Once the weekday volumes returned, we have struggled to make progress. Here’s how many “activities” are pending to be sent from lemmy.world to lemmy.nz. It has made very little progress this week but it’s slightly better than yesterday at this time. You can see a live version of this here.
Here’s one showing the time behind that we are. Currently there’s a 10.5 hour lag from lemmy.world to lemmy.nz. It was lowest at about 9.5 hours around 10:30 this morning (NZDT), which is the best it’s been in the last week. Slowly catching up. Live version of this one here.
