As far as I’ve been able to find so far there’s only one Rugby community and it seems to be on an instance that might be mostly spam bots.

I know its not everyone’s cup of tea, but given tis a big popular topic in NZ it might be nice if we hosted the community? Just a thought.

    Since the community is small maybe it could be for all sports? I’d definitely post when there’s a good ufc card on.

    Seems a bit niche considering there have not been many sports posts yet? It is a more general issue, do we wait until there is a need or ‘build it and they will come’?

    Saw post by @[email protected] as I was typing this (nice feature!) and agree at least at this stage a more generic NZ sports community would be better.

      Yeah I get that, though New Zealand as a topic is probably as niche as sports in general and we have communities for different regions in NZ as well :)

      But for sure its a matter of wait, or build it.

    It sounds like !sports is of interest to a few people here.

    Any arguments against doing a !sports community? (as opposed to a !rugby community, or just putting it in !newzealand)
