      Some, but there are two things here to consider:

      1. Not NEARLY on the level of Afghanistan. It’s hard to overstate just how little control the government had, or how little of a ‘nation’ there was.

      2. US training isn’t going to make their problems worse, so there’s little reason not to accept, other than domestic political concerns.
