You forgot the part where they’re actual representations of the people who elect them. People want people like MTG in government, because that’s what they believe too
You’re right of course but I’m choosing to believe that most people are good and the ones that vote in the way you describe are few and far between.
I realize that that stance may not be true but it helps me sleep at night so I hold onto it.
