Well that would be nice! Thanks for the tip!

I went to the first showing on Thursday, it’s fine. It’s Deadpool, what do they expect? ;)
There are problems with it without getting into all the business dealings, IP property rights and so on, see my note down thread somewhere.
But it’s fine, taking my wife today, she’s the Deadpool fan. I bet she loves it.
I enjoyed it, 3.5/5 stars, but there are issues beyond the self referentiality.
It feels overlong. The constant fights between Deadpool and Wolverine grow tiresome. The swearing is at the level of a 12 year old trying to be edgy.
Those are actual complaints that don’t involve the subject matter, which I’m totally down for. I was slightly disapponted they went with a Music Man reference instead of Greatest Showman, but fine, whatever.
Never heard of TMON, it looks like if Amazon, Ticketmaster and Travelocity had a baby? And somehow they’re going broke?
Man, they buried the answer:
“Across a thousand runs, the model cranked through the temperature data and settled on a year. Sometimes the model spat out later dates. Sometimes earlier. The two scientists made a plot of the numbers and a neat cluster emerged. Yes—2057. But that’s just the middle point: In 95 percent of the model’s simulations, the AMOC tipped sometime between 2025 and 2095.”
The big one was when Return2Ozma admitted, in public, that they were only interested in posting negative Biden information, that got them a 30 day ban.
Barring something like that? It’s subjective. Mods don’t have access to IP information so we can’t directly see if something is, say, coming from a bot farm.
The Admins can see that, but with VPNs and such, IP information isn’t 100% reliable either.
The big thing is what gets reported and what doesn’t. Contrary to public opinion, mods aren’t out here reading every comment in every thread.
We DO read and review everything that gets reported, and when a comment is reported, it also goes to the admins, both here and on the users home instance.
Oh, I know EXACTLY who you’re talking about. :)
That doesn’t make them bots or bad actors. They’re allowed to have bad opinions.
Where we draw the line is attacking other users. If they’re saying YOU’RE supporting genocide, that’s a civility rule and the comment will get pulled.
If they say Biden or Harris or anyone else is supporting genocide, that’s clearly not true and a bad opinion but allowed.
They really are not. A gay candidate will guarantee a loss through the midwest and south. Generally all the religious votes.
You think PizzaGate was bad? Wait until you have a gay candidate.
If someone reports as “Seems like this is a bad actor”, yeah, that’s exactly what we do. We also have two back channel chats, one with the other mods and the lemmy.world admins and another with admins of multiple lemmy instances.
If we determine that what they are doing may not necessarily violate the rules, it elevates their user name to a point where we are all now watching them.
I will typically reply and engage with them to see how bad they really are, sometimes that’s enough for them to peel back the mask and get then banned.
Removed, trolling.
Removed, civility.
Removed, civility.
They outlast the car, but don’t have the range and take too long to charge, that’s the problem, not the longevity.
Removed, civility.
Bonus if it has a dolphin on it.
Needs to be an option to put these into todays EVs. You shouldn’t have to buy a brand new car to get better battery technology.
If you feel someone is a bad actor, report them and let the mods deal with it.
Apparently… “it’s complicated”. There ARE Raptor lake variants of this CPU, they are just less common.

Only way to tell if it’s Alder or Raptor is by checking the S-Spec Code:
Alder Lake, S-Spec code SRMBN
Raptor Lake, S-Spec code SRMBG
