    I’m spending a few more days in Tauranga visiting family. I came down on the InterCity with my daughter, we prefer it to driving even though it takes longer.

    My partner is staying home to look after the hundreds of rare seedlings we’ve germinated since our trips to the tropics. Sadly we haven’t found anyone we can trust to look after them, so she’s having some quiet time to herself. That’s the trouble with living on a block, you can’t just lock up and go.
