If you are a mod you won’t get the 429 error
Edit: Working again
Reddit did some change in the API that breaks many apps. As far as I know they are aware of the issue and will fix it. More info here: https://www.reddit.com/r/redditdev/comments/1d3spoc/error_getting_submitted_with_mobile_useragent/
It still works for mods 🤷
I stopped browsing Reddit in July
The Android Youtube plugin does not work anymore, Google has discontinued it, that’s why it is disabled even if the setting is checked. I’ll remove the setting.
That setting from Lemmy is not implemented in the app yet.
The app only hides read posts that are loaded on the screen. After pressing hide read, Boost load the next page of posts that might contain read posts too.
If you don’t want to see read posts, disable “Show read posts” in your account preferences
Stupid question just to make sure, are you using Boost 1.0.12?
Every other instance besides lemmynsfw kicks me off my app
When an instance migrates from Lemmy 0.18 to the new version 0.19 invalidates all users credentials and requires login again. Lemmynsfw is still in 0.18.
This is planned 👍
Planned for the future 🫰
Exactly, Lemmy 0.19 doesn’t return the karma, it has been removed
Kill and restart the app completely and it should show up
This has been fixed in version 1.0.12, you should be able to set duration in days
I’ve just updated the flag, it may take a couple of hours to be detected by your app (or immediately if you clear app data)
Thanks for your support ❤️🥹
is there something I have to do personally to get 0.19?
No, just wait. They are updating to 0.19.3 on Saturday
I believe that’s a problem with Lemmy. Boost shows the titles as they are received from the API. I think Lemmy 0.19 fixes that according to this comment: https://lemmy.world/comment/7986943
You may need to enable supported links in Android settings
