Wenn dich die Wahrheit über den 7. Oktober interessiert, kann ich noch diesen Film empfehlen. Auch er versucht möglichst objektiv und unparteiisch und nicht von Hass gesteuert die Ereignisse dieses Tages nachzuzeichnen.

Jeder Name in der Liste ist es wert, gegoogelt, gelesen und gehört zu werden. Leider ist alles auf Englisch, in deutschen Medien finden diese Menschen nicht statt.
Bei zahlreichen Gestalten wäre es tatsächlich völlig unangemessen, sie durch übermäßiges Wiedergeben in ihrem Hass aufzuwerten. Passiert aber trotzdem:

Kann man machen. Wer Diem25/Mera25 in Erwägung zieht sollte wissen, dass es sich dabei um das Sammelbecken von Yanis Varoufakis handelt. Er und die Bewegung waren eng mit dem sogenannten “Palästina-Kongress” verbandelt, zu der Salman Abu Sitta geladen war, der erklärte, dass er bedauert, zu alt gewesen zu sein, um sich am Hamas-Massaker vom 7.10. zu beteiligen.
Mit der Menge an deutschsprachigen Communities die auf feddit.de gehostet sind, ist feddit ziemlich wichtig für das deutschsprachige Threadiverse.
Ohne Häme, aber zumindest ein bisschen amüsiert lese ich das im Anbetracht des Umstands, dass man sich von Reddit-Umzüglern wiederholt was anhören durfte, deutschsprachige Communities nicht auf feddit zu starten, weil das doch lediglich Hürden für Reddit-Umsteiger:innen schaffen würde…
As part of a small party instance, I would like to point out that there are restrictions, e.g. only comments from users who are also followed by someone on their own instance are visible - unless the admin has linked the instance to an external bridge. Furthermore, I recommend to have contact details of an admin outside Mastodon at hand - because if the instance is not reachable, it will quickly become unpleasant.
If you know what you’re getting into and want to accept that so: You can find all instances on https://mastodon.fediverse.observer/list. In addition to Mastodon, I also recommend taking a look at Soapbox (e.g. postblue.social) or Firefish (e.g. firefish.social), which are more modern and offer many more features like formatted posts and quoted posts, but have no character limit like Mastodon.
The problem is that Mastodon, unlike Lemmy or Friendica, requires a mention of you to get a notification of a response, even if it’s your post. Plus, if you don’t have a follower from the instance of the user that replied (which is always the case if it’s a Lemmy-user), the reply won’t even appear.
I don’t see a solution for this.
Is there a dependency on the instance, will it be blocked otherwise? I have activated the bridge to Telegram and Discord for my channels in the channel itself.
The pupose of a Like button is to express that you like the post.

What is baffling about it? The function fulfills exactly the purpose that its name promises.
it wouldn’t make sense since the whole point of boosting something is to tell the public that you like a post.
With a boost, you pass the post to your followers. This is a different feature accordingly.
Like before Boost often seems useful, but hardly in case of bad news.

Hält man etwas genauer die Lupe drauf, sieht die Entwicklung teilweise schon wieder ein wenig anders aus. In Leipzig werden gerade an allen Ecken Kitas dichtgemacht und Stellen gestrichen, weil der Nachwuchs seit etwa 5 Jahren komplett einbricht. Die Mieten erheben sich langsam aber sicher auf Westniveau, während die Löhne eben weiterhin auf die verlängerte Werkbank des Westens deuten.
Wird sicherlich einige Kommunen im Umkreis die nächsten Jahre noch kräftig freuen, während die nächste Stadt an Airbnb und grüne BesserverdienerX* fällt. GentrifizierungsSmiley.
