This provides a link that should work across instances, but in some cases it won’t

To my knowledge this doesn’t work if a user in your instance hasn’t previously searched for the community

Update: I clicked the small ‘x’ on the side of the language box in my settings and things are loading now.

I’m having the same issue 3 days later. I’m also seeing it on https://lemmy.one/c/[email protected]. It only seems blank when I’m signed in. If I sign out everything loads. My language is Undetermined.

There are a bunch of comments in this thread on kbin.social at https://kbin.social/m/[email protected]/t/26213/XKCD-1172 but none here at lemmy.one. Every time I think I understand federation I get thrown for a loop

I’m reading in some other threads that it may be due to the cloudflare DDoS protection in place.

This and the email analogy has helped me understand how all these fediverse apps interact. Thanks for the explanation.
