My favorite claim from Trump is that aid is being withheld from Republican-controlled areas. Couldn’t project any harder if he tried. He demonstrated staggering favoritism toward republican-controlled districts during covid and when disaster relief was needed after hurricanes, fires, etc. Grade-A piece of shit, just all around scum at its lowest. Not to say it’s surprising but wow do his worshippers really eat up every word he says without even a hint of reflection or consideration. Amazing how far people will go to be comfortably racist/misogynist/homophobic/etc

If he’s anything like his new king, he won’t pay a cent to any of the chuds that take him up on this offer

Still won’t stop the others from going and keeping the restaurant afloat. I ditched my account (even though i rarely used it) right around the time it was changing hands. So now I don’t use it but there’s little i can do to convince millions of people who either don’t care or actually admire twats like Leon. There’s a lot of people out there not giving 2 shits about any of this stuff, or just can’t be bothered to change their habits even slightly.

I don’t see Twitter going anywhere, it’s a new more-mainstream parler i guess? Conservatives need a public space that’s more visible and now they have it. They want to be public about their shittiness, they’re tired of hiding their racism/misogyny/homophobia/etc

I was also delighted by the little bonus “a” in that spelling! I’ve been trying to remember to use the æ symbol in those cases though i don’t get to use it nearly as fræquently as I’d like… At least not properlæ 😉

I think that we’ve hit a wall in terms of major technological advancements for now, and since we can’t make substantially better graphics or sound or overall usability the only avenue left to exploit is software.

Sometimes i think of wealth disparity in terms of an enormous game of musical chairs. Maybe I’m being naive, but i at least like to think that there’s enough chairs for everyone on the planet to get a seat. People carrying that “fuck you, got mine” mindset are hoarding chairs. The worst offenders are hoarding square miles of chairs. At the end of the day when the shit hits the fan though, everybody only needs/fits on a single chair. All that hoarding for something they’ll never use while denying folks who couldn’t get one at all.

This is insane. We’re really lucky they didn’t get their act together before trump took office the first time.

Moving forward, can we just expect this to be the Republican agenda/plan next time they take the presidency–regardless how long it takes before that should happen?
