  • I was daunted by it at first as well when I got my hands on my deck. I didn’t want to break anything. But I tried it at some point and can’t recommend it enough! There are plenty of good tutorials on YouTube (that take just 5 minutes) and they also made the process of installing easier since when I did it. So if you’re on the fence, I’d recommend just to go for it, it’s not as techy as you might think.

  • It’s actually crazy that GTA V is already ten years old. That was one of my first big anticipated titles. It felt like such a defining moment back then. Now it’s two console generations later and we still have no real indication for GTA V or Elder Scrolls 6. I hope they’re going to be equally as impressive as their predecessors.

  • Wouldn’t exactly call it impressive. It’s nice they included temporary tech. It is to be expected if you release a game in 2023. What weighs more I’d argue is what they left out. No improved textures, 720p UI still, no 60FPS - not even on a console that is 10 times stronger than what we had back then.

It’s especially sad if you think about that they already have the whole map of RDR1 recreated in RDR2. It feels like half of the work was already done and they just had to pull through and port the missions. Instead we got the exact game from 10 years ago.

  • (Beyond the spoilers is a small summary of these episodes which doesn’t give away too much but I tend to think that going in completely blind is the better experience. So in case you want to know a little bit what the episode is generally about you can safely read these.)

Chiming in on this, just adding to the previous very good answer, I really liked "Beyond the Sea" S6 E3, the one with Aaron Paul.

It’s about astronauts who can connect with their family on earth by some kind of android which they can control. However, this goes horribly wrong at some point, as all Black Mirror episodes tend do to.

Also one of my favourites is "Black Museum" S4 E6.

There are 3 little stories woven together in one episode which on their own are already great. Memorabilia of these objects are being displayed in an eery museum which serves as the connection between these stories.

Lastly, I somehow enjoyed "Crocodile" from S4 E3.

It starts with an accident which becomes a secret for the two people involved. Years later, an insurance investigator investigates another accident by tapping directly into witnesses memories.

  • This is a really weird one:

There was a time where I played an unhealthy amount of My Summer Car. The basic premise is your parents are going on vacation and leave you alone in their lakeside house in Finland with nothing to do. Then it is up to you what you want to do. However, there is chassis and engine from an old car in your garage, that’s just waiting to be put together. So you go out, buy some groceries from the next local store, realise you forgot to buy lots and lots of beer, go back and buy that and then it’s off.

You’re building that car in that garage part after part while listening to Finnish death metal and the buzzing of flies if you neglect showering for too long. Swearing, driving drunk on a motorcycle, hopefully not getting caught by police, going out fishing with your motorboat, finding little secrets in the world. The other characters even have some weird backstories that you can uncover.

The game can be very punishing but also super rewarding and funny. It’s definitely very time intensive, so that is something you can really sink your teeth in. You do want to have a guide at hand in order to build the car, because that is one hell of a task. If you’re in for that kind of experience, it’s a very bumpy but funny ride.
