I don’t recall. Interesting question.
I’m sure he would have been good but I appreciate him opting out for artistic reasons if that is what happened.
Mostly chakra meditations. I find them to be the most effective.
Sit down on a mat or pillow. Close your eyes. Pay attention to your breath. Observe your mind as you move your awareness up and down your body, pausing at different points along the way. Continue this practice until you want to do it often and regularly. 🙏🏻
Those who are interested in the show may want to consider tracking down the David Mack comic run where the character made its debut. It has great art and character-driven writing, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/139996.Daredevil_Vol_8.
I think the article’s connection to some of the aspects of the source material is relevant as well. As long as the conversation stays civil, I don’t see a problem with its inclusion in this community.
I get what you mean but I’m good with the title as is. The naming convention will likely continue with subsequent films too.
You sir, win the internet today AND tomorrow as far as I’m concerned. 👊🏻🎃
Haha! That’s great. I hadn’t seen it yet.
A bigger pull week for me— Green Arrow, Flash, Captain America, Giant Robot Hellboy, Predator vs Wolverine, and Mighty Thor
I was in the 90s and am again with the Taylor & Redondo run. I plan on picking that Dan Mora cover up. FYI if you weren’t already aware of it, [email protected].
We are all born with good and evil in us. The wolf that gets fed by us individually and as a society usually wins. Light can beat dark every time but it requires effort, abandoning ego and practicing compassion and empathy. These can be difficult for some to practice for a variety of reasons. 🤘🏻✌🏻
Thanks for sharing. Hope and despair are a choice. One that can be drastically easier to make based on the environment in which they live. Those of us who can more easily choose hope can also offer it to those in need of it through our words and actions. LotR may have been Tolkien trying to create hope for himself. In doing so, he created a work that can also offer hope to others in dark times.
It can be troubling to see how dark humanity can get. People aren’t born this way, they are molded by their own choices, actions and inactions and those of others.
Same! Kudos to devs and I’ll try using this as my main app for a bit and see how it goes.
Lol! "…blue Elon Musk.
Well said. It was ‘whelming’ and Thrawn just didn’t quite get the portrayal that the character deserved. I don’t fault the actor as much as the season’s plotting and writing. The character came off as a strategist, but not to the same level as a Lex Luthor of the Star Wars universe in terms of intellect and strategy. I’ll keep an open mind though and hope future storylines address some of these concerns. Andor, Rogue One and peak-level Mandalorian remain the best of Star Wars TV/movies for the last decade or so in my opinion.
Ahsoka = C+. Zahn’s novel trilogy it is not. Not even close in terms of quality or narrative. Not a single ‘wow’ or ‘woah’ moment. Some ‘that’s kinda cool’ moments. It has some good lightsaber action and Ahsoka and Baylon are cool characters but the show suffers from questionable plotting and dialogue, slow pacing, underutilization of Thrawn as an antagonist and a requirement to be familiar with Rebels to understand most of it. It would have been better as a 2–3 hour movie. At least Andor S2 is yet to come. Oh and…Zombie stormtroopers? Really?!?
One should meditate every day until they want to meditate every day. It’s the seventh limb of yoga. I practice every day at least once. If more humans did, the world would be a very different place, for the better.
Try it now. It should work.
