There’s something really special about that though. A labor of love I guess.

Something else too is that formats are always evolving. I feel like it would hurt a little to build a big DVD collection and then have Blu-ray and 4k come out. 🫤Of course I guess resolution-wise there’s only so far we can go before it doesn’t matter too much.

Yeah my plan is to use Ember for front-end stuff and have an API server using something else for when I need a good backend.

I’ve used mint before! I was a big fan of mint’s look and feel, but it’s been a while. I also liked that it was Debian-based but a little easier to get into than other distros.

I’ve never tried Manjaro, but I’ve heard good things. That’s Arch right?

I am absolutely dying to get out to the beach this summer. 🏝️
