Since being forced back to they office only to sit on calls with the TV in the meeting room, I take every opportunity I can to make snide remarks about staying home.
@[email protected] please write a two sentence horror story with a twist on a historical figure most would know. Make it plausible.
This is the way
Wait. You’re telling me I can connect home assistant to my printer in since way… I’ve been missing out.
Well the z-fold does use a tablet version of Android, so I wonder if that might be it!
Based on today, I think this is where I make a bean joke.
I see moonlander, I upvote.
Hey everyone, Pedro Pascal just outed his secret Lemmy account over here!
This is a game that should be my ideal game. Everything about it screams that I’d love it. But I’ve attempted to start it probably 6 different times, ranging between 2 and 10ish hours of play each time. I just can’t get hooked and now I’ve done the intro too many times :( I really want to love this game.
So, as I understand it based on other systems I’ve used/worked on that had a few similar feature sets, ActivityPub will effectively send out events of “things”. What that is depends on whoever is telling ActivityPub about it. So, the data for a mastadon post (what are these called?) Would likely be pretty different to the data shape of a post on Lemmy. Not specifically the same, but I don’t think there’s anything stopping somebody from developing a server that can handle multiple types of content. Kbin has a similar thing between threads and microblogging. Two content types supported there.
It would come with a removable hoodie, but the only other clothes you can buy are also hoodies
And this is why I love 3rd party apps so we can customize this kind of thing :)
Any thoughts on why this community, specifically, won’t show up in my subscriptions? I’ve un/subscribed multiple times and it just won’t show in the sidebar. It did before the visible name changed away from the default, but at least in Connect it just won’t “stay” subscribed. The 3 dots menu will show it as subscribed, but if I close the app or navigate away from the community for a bit, it reverts back to wanting me to subscribe. Jerboa does show me as subscribed though, so I’m thinking it might be something with Connect in particular?
Also, potential suggestion, would it be useful for people to have a quick link to the official community within the app? Even if it was under some kind of help menu. Just an idea.
Overall it’s really just super comfy. The wrist rest is fantastic for sitting at a desk for hours. The index finger on the ball was a bit hard to get used to but after a few days my finger looked like Mr. Incredible’s chest though.
The software to customize the buttons is really nice too. Cross platform, so it was trivial to setup custom stuff for my work MacBook and my PC separately (same workstation, but I’ve got a dock that switches all my devices between the two)
I may go pick up an ergo now though. I’ve been running this one for a few years now so it’s time to waste money on more peripherals I guess!
Just a few weeks I’m sure
Well, it is hotswap, so I might as well!
This place is pretty nice, right!?
I emailed the dev a few days ago asking where I could donate or something but haven’t heard back yet.
We had one of the magnet screen door dealios and it worked really well. Until the cat discovered he could just go out on the porch to try and escape.
