Is it me or 12% is kinda low for such a big system to manage?
Don’t get me wrong, we need to tackle this problem from every direction, but I was expecting more, especially by 2030.
I looked up Last Thursdayism also, it did not disappoint :
if the world was created 6,000 years ago with the appearance of being made billions of years ago, what is there to stop us from claiming it was made Last Thursday?
The debate on whether Last Thursdayism is true has raged on ever since the creation of the universe last Thursday.
Funny. As Canadians, we say we’re Americans when we do stupid shit abroad.
Tucker Carlson responded to today’s verdict in what can only be described as an apocalyptic tone, stating on X that the jury’s decision marked “the end of the fairest justice system in the world.” The former Fox News host said that Trump would still win the election “if he’s not killed first,” and closed by saying that “anyone who defends this verdict is a danger to you and your family.”
It’s part of the Star Trek universe.
I watched that one last week. I found it pretty… disturbing.
And the next episode, Sisko’s like “Dax, old man, I totally didn’t put my bacon bazooka in your queef chapel during my business trip on the other side”.
Disturbing I tell you.
My point is that the lobbying doesn’t seem to stop the bribing.
You guys remember when Trump criticized Obama for playing too much golf?

Thank you for taking that bullet for us!
Remains to be seen. The stock is up 10% today, for no apparent reason.

Same thing is happening in New-Brunswick, with a conservative majority.
In early November, Premier Blaine Higgs reportedly said he was considering legislation to block federal housing funding from being given directly to municipalities.
Because no help is better than Trudeau getting the credit.

Not trying to excuse his actions but read the _Early life and reports of abuse _section.
This guy is a product of a mentally ill mother who abused him. Imagine being 4 years old and your caregiver keeps telling you she wished you were dead. Not a recipe for a well balanced individual.
My point is yes, his place is in prison. But if you want to prevent other acts of this kind, social and mental services need to get better. They clearly failed in this case, more than once.
Funny coincidence : our prime minister worked 33 years for Irving.
