Now they are starting to enforce what always was a requirement. The real fuckup is selling the game in countries where PSN is unavailable. So no. Hate it as much as you want. But they didn’t suddenly change the condition. The condition was always there.

Do I have to sign in to PSN to play a PlayStation game on PC? Before May 3 “Signing in to PSN is optional when playing a PlayStation game on PC.” After May 3 “Some PlayStation games may require you to sign in and link an account for PSN.” Sorry for the Reddit link but there’s a lot more discussion happening there: https://www.reddit.com/r/helldivers2/comments/1cjuryr/they_lied/
