Rig is a NLR F-GT. It’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far, but it’s struggling to keep up. The Seat on this rig has been ripped up by my cat, so a sweatshirt and a towel have gone into service covering up the very ripped leather. I plan on replacing the seat soon, so hopefully won’t have that problem for more than another year or so.
Wheelbase is a VRS DFP. It’s amazing and I love it. Packs quite a punch and does really try to rip your arms off at full FFB. This is paired with a CubeControls QR (Also known as the aliexpress one) and an Ascher F64-USB.
Pedals are also the VRS Pedals. Currently I only have 2 installed, but I do have the optional 3rd clutch that isn’t mounted right now. The pedal plate flexes a lot more than I’d like, even with the additional strengthening kit from NLR.
Rig is a dedicated sim PC with a 11900K, RTX 3080 and 32GB of RAM. Triple 32 inch 1440p/144hz monitors round out the setup, mounted to a Rigmetal Monitor Stand.
I also have a Polsimer F74 that is no longer in use and a NLR GT Rim for if I need a round rim.
I’m happy to answer any querstions!

There’ll be an extra session 2 hours before the race for anyone who may need help. Please reach out via DM if you need any help with any of it.
Hope to see you all there!
Nice rig. You and I are at very different ends of the sim rig game that’s for sure haha!
I have the VRS DFP as well, amazing bit of kit. Always wanted an SC2 but could not justify the cost so when the VRS came to the market i jumped on it when i could. Loved it ever since. Was going to get the VRS pedals but the wait time was crazy to ended up with HE Sprints.
It’s my endgame wheelbase, no need to ever upgrade again tbh. I felt the same way about the SC2, so the VRS was the natural choice.
Got lucky on my pedal wait time and only had to wait ~2 weeks to get mine. They’re incredibly well built and I love them.
@BURN Yup. My VRS wheelbase is about perfect. Pedals are amazing too. I guess the only upgrade to pedals would be an active brake at some point.
Really nice setup. I’m still on a desk setup. Can’t wait to make the transition to something like this.
It’s well worth it. I find it much easier to race more frequently when I don’t have to set the whole thing up again.
Foldable rigs are apparently great as well if you’re low on space.
How did you go about mounting the pedals so that they are flat?? Both the gt and f1 mounting positions have the pedals so angled and it’s pretty awkward even if I have gotten a bit more used to it. Did you make a custom bracket? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, I have the same rig and that’s my only real gripe with it atm.
Very nice setup! That’s quite a collection of wheels you have - how do you find the build quality compares? Do you have any preferences between them?
Also - how do you find your PC for iRacing? I’ve heard iRacing is much more optimised than rF2 - I had a similar spec of PC but would still get the occasional stutter sometimes. I’m guessing with those specs in iRacing it would be buttery smooth? :)
Thanks!
Build Quality. The Ascher is a league of its own here. It’s incredibly overbuilt and feels really solid in your hards. The Polsimer was great until I started cranking FFB, at which point I was hearing a bit of creaking from the 3D printed parts. On anything below 24nm it’s great. Cube Controls is alright. I don’t love the rim, but it’s solid and hasn’t done anything to make me dislike it.
The pC works well enough. I get the occasional drop to ~80fps, especially on the grid or with high car counts, but once those drop away it’s running 110-120fps pretty consistently.
@BURN awesome setup. That’s a really clean build too. I’ve been eye entry level DD recently. It has been about a year that I have been using my TMX.
