Vulkan wouldn’t work for my PC either. It would crash. DirectX works, but I hope they fix the Vulkan problem. I would rather use Vulkan.

I played for over 2 hours and didn’t have any other issues. Performance was very good on my Linux Gaming PC.

    Specs
    Ubuntu 23.04
    ASUS Prime Z690-A LGA
    Intel Core i7-12700KF
    CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 5200MHz C40-40-40-77 1.25V
ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti

Yes, same, I played Vulkan and the game crashes after the Nautiloid when it’s loading the beach crash site. DirectX works fine for me.

Asus ROG Strix Scar 2022, Nvidia 3060, Steam+Proton Experimental on XWayland, Endeavour OS.

I’m sure they’ll get Vulkan polished in time.

Vulkan works flawlessly on mesa drivers. This is an nvidia driver issue, one of many, unfortunately.

After the patch I tried Vulkan again and played for over 4 hours with out an issue. I’ll play again…a lot over the weekend. We’ll see if I have any issues.
