We should pass a bill to make animal cruelty of any kind a capital offense.
It’s a nice idea but the meat industry would lobby heavily against it. They don’t want any legislation moving towards stronger animal welfare because if the trend continues they might have to change things.
True, and justice is dangerous. Imagine the board of directors of Tyson Foods on death row. Tut tut.
