We really need to do something about settlements…

An organization does something wrong, gets caught, and just pays off the people they fucked over.

So they don’t have to go thru discovery, and get to claim this isn’t proof they were fucking around and everything goes away.

It needs to go thru the court process so everyone that fucked around is held accountable and they stop fucking around.

If this lawsuit is successful, at least the end of affirmative action will sting a little less.

I don’t understand the grounds. Are they public institutions or is it tied to some state aid they get or something?
