They probably could, but like I said, they refuse to spend more than 2 milliseconds looking at an angle where you can actually see the ball, they just watched the player occlude the ball the entire time, shrug and say “I guess it’s in”

I don’t think it’s fair to say his defensive skills are getting worse, but that the opposition are increasingly targeting him as a weak point in our defense

Yeah, I don’t think it’s the fault of anyone on the pitch or in the VAR room that they’re not sure; it’s a structural problem.
