Can it really be worth spending 20 years in prison to nab a few Krispy Kremes? I never thought they were all that good anyway, kind of sickly sweet if you ask me. I mean I could stealing a truckload of chocolate, maybe - or a truckload of gold bars, but not donuts.
I keep finding them either oily sweet or too dry. The brand is overrated either way.
I agree, I’ve had better glazed donuts from store bakeries, I never very much liked the texture of Krispy Kremes. We used to have a brand called Spudnuts - does anyone remember those? Made from potato flour, they were much better tasting than a lot of donuts.
