No one’s ever driven into the back of me during a zoom call. Driving is the most dangerous thing the average person does. Doing less of it reduces that risk. I was often fatigued behind the wheel, as I imagine everyone else on the road at that hour was. Danger reduced is a big win.
That is why I love the bus, I just walk down to the closest bus stop, a few min later the bus arrives, I get on it and then I am posting a comment on Lemmy as we join E18, I can, and often do, sleep on the bus, my phone is full of movies and games, so I can simply relax.
You know what is also exhausting? Getting ready and driving to and from an office or classroom.
