      Reads more like the current junta is possibly going to collapse and the country then devolves into warlords fighting over control of territory. We can hope that the people running these various factions will see the benefit of peaceful coexistence and a democratic, federal style government. But, it just takes a couple of power hungry assholes to ruin it for everyone.

        Yep. The chances of the country turning into a democracy are pretty slim even after the current junta meets its well deserved end.

    … those scam centers must be pretty bad if China is willing to accept that kind of instability on their border just to be rid of them.
