Conservatism is a global plague. I hope the Spaniards are eventually able to crush the nazi right reactionaries like the fucking cockroaches they are.

I hope the Spaniards are eventually able to crush the nazi right reactionaries like the fucking cockroaches they are.

Listen, I too hope that our various governments stop their appeasement policies and finally stand up to the rising right wing tide currently sweeping Europe.
But calling the political enemy cockroaches and for them to be crushed is exactly the kind of language fascists use and we should be better than that.

I appreciate and support your position, but I am definitely not better than that. In fact, I may be worse than that. I do not expect you to have the same taste for blood that I have, though. We have different life experiences.

Conservatives chose us (non-conservatives) to be their enemy. I have no choice in the matter. I have politely turned my cheek for over 50 years thinking they would eventually become kinder or that this would all go away some day. Conservatives have only become more deadly and more sadistic.

Conservatives do not see us as humans. When you show them kindness, they can only see it as weakness to exploit. That is just who they are at their core. Humanizing an enemy who cannot humanize you in return is a deadly mistake. So, to me, they should be treated exactly (if not worse) than they treat their enemy.

Fun fact: I don’t crush actual cockroaches. Real cockroaches have done nothing wrong and pose no threat.

I think you’re missing your point. It’s what we do to ourselves when we dehumanise others that’s the issue. I don’t see a difference between the vulgarity of those dishonest, gaslighting conservatives and people who talk like you did above.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

MADRID (AP) — Police clashed for a second night Tuesday with protesters who oppose negotiations between Spain’s acting government and Catalan separatist parties over a possible amnesty for thousands involved in Catalonia’s independence movement.

Several protestors in Madrid waved Spanish flags and shouted insults against the acting prime minister, Pedro Sánchez, and some of them self-identified as “nazis” in chants.

The government said that Tuesday’s gathering at the gates of the national headquarters in Madrid of the ruling Socialist Party was attended by around 7,000, roughly double the number of protestors that took part the day before.

“(I extend) all my warmth and support for the Socialist Party members who are suffering harassment by reactionaries at their local headquarters,” Sánchez wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Sánchez is negotiating with the Catalan separatist parties to receive their backing in his bid to form a new government and keep his center-left coalition in power following an inconclusive national election in July.

But the two separatist parties have demanded a sweeping amnesty that would include their leaders who fled Spain following their failed 2017 secession attempt, in exchange for their votes in Parliament, among other concessions.
