There was also two skeletons and a regular zombie close by.

Honestly, I don’t think coming across this many monsters is that uncommon in vanilla and C:AB. Maybe that’s just my perception skewed by older versions though.

Mini-zombies are just broken.
Combat in general in MC sucks. Has any mod fixed that yet?
Mini zombies tend to spawn in groups, I find. Probably not many other valid spawn locations if you’re getting a bunch of spawns
