Even if you halved them, the casualties and dead on Gaza’s side are atrocious. When such a high proportion of the population are children, of course they will be.

Just think about how many hospitals were bombed, and how aid is being limited. They want the injured to have no hope of being treated and die agonizing deaths.

Children are being treated without clean equipment and anesthesia FFS.

“I’m sure innocents have been killed and that’s the price of waging a war.”

Everything to try to justify Israel’s actions, is not?

It doesn’t matter, even if they’re halved it’s still immensely high. Innocents have been murdered/ killed and it’ll continue happening sadly.

Biden is pretty much trying to justify genocide at this point.

according to a HuffPost review of internal State Department documents.

Most were prepared by the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem and then circulated to a broad group of department officials working on issues related to Israel-Palestine. Situation reports such as these represent U.S. assessments from the ground that are intended to inform policy discussions and decision-making in Washington.

When you’re distributing information to State Department officials working on issues related to Israel-Palestine you don’t need to tell them that information from Hamas is questionable, they already know that. That’s not anywhere near the same as news media producing articles for a general population.

There are literally completely different standards for internal work product intended for professionals and public facing releases intended for everyone. It’s extremely disingenuous to conflate the two.
