I will miss turn base. It’s nostalgic and ff was where I got it. I don’t really want more button mashing games. Not that turn base was much different.ost enemies would require the same attack anyway.
But I liked learning the most efficient way to kill something. Building toxic or poisonous attacks to whittle down attacks. You get different playthroughs using different mechanics.
You had party members so could swap playthrough, status affects melee magic distance. It was much more interesting than just. Bash sword and maybe magic attack if you want. The aeons were pretty fun too.
I’m bias my favourites were FFX and 12. I’ve played through the rest but those are the ones I started with and love.
I despised 15 and likely won’t get 16 for a very long time if at all. It’s not the FF I loved. That’s okay. Things change. A new generation will decide.
