Okay, but it’s not X’s data. The users are the ones generating it.
It’s a gross example of capitalism that these companies (Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, etc.) all consider the user generated content as theirs and not as belonging to the users.
It’s like if someone tried to own physical newsletters placed on a public board in a plaza. It’s free for anyone to read and copy because it’s a public forum.
