Honestly, the number one thing I wished for while playing BG3 was DOS3. BG3 is great and all and the combat is fun, but there are so many things about DND 5e (and especially its combat) that just don’t work well (both in BG3 and tabletop imo).

But DOS3, where every ability would be designed fresh, without any pre-defined requirements, combined with the amazing engine that they’ve built for BG3? That just sounds soo good imo.

So yeah, I can’t wait for them to go back to working on something else actually.

This is what I’ve been thinking the whole time too. Absolutely love the game, but coming from Pathfinder I find 5e… lacking.

No just no. I can’t find the element that fucking weapons were made of in this game anywhere on the internet. They subtracted HP by round and kept doing so. I can’t remember their name but it literally had me nope out of DOS 1 & 2. And I will nope out of every game that has it. I literally killed my first DOS1 run midway.

The fact that I can’t remember it’s name should instill the fact that I haven’t retouched these games since and will not. Larrian be DAMNED.

I am really confused right now, what are you trying to say about the weapons?

DOS has weapons/items that start killing your character as soon as they touch them.

I can’t remember the material but it literally made me stop playing DOS1 as I was like 30+ hrs in and couldn’t get rid of a status effect.

Edit: I finally found it’s name, Tenebrium.
