I saw that video a little while ago, and it put a smile on my face. I wish more people just tried to give their bike more utility; once you start, you can’t stop!
And don’t be put off if you need to invest in something like a rack, basket, pannier bag, or trailer. These things are often “buy once, use forever” and save you money over the long term.
As an example, just yesterday I had to pick up two items for my wife. This would have cost around $15 in gas/insurance, but instead, I enjoyed a beautiful few hours on my bike. Do that 10 times, and my pannier is paid for! 😍
