    No Rice in the claypot but I’m like meh. I think I’m a bit more frustrated that our main target deals are very difficult to get over the line rarher than we cannot get a specific player. I am a bit in awe that some clubs get deals done without too much noise.

      Liverpool seem the best at this. They move in silence and you only really hear about the deal when its about to be done. We have been doing that off late with Fabio Vieira last summer and hopefully Timber this summer.

        I wonder how Liverpool make sure even the counterparty aren’t leaking stuff. I get the feeling that a lot of the stuff coming out in relation to us is from the other team/player’s camp

          I think it’s about whether or not the opposite camp respects us enough. I do feel like most of the time we are being used as bait. It’s like Rice and West Ham…Mudpuppy and Shakhtar, it’s obvious they don’t want to sell.

          Most of the time it’s like buying a house, come in with a mortgage or the other guy comes in with cash in full right off the bat. Who would you pick as an owner?
