Hydrogen as an energy storage and transportation makes a lot of sense, if you have the infrastructure. For something like cargo ships that currently burn heavy fuel oil, switching to hydrogen would improve the ecological impact even if the hydrogen is produced with fossil fuel power.
Anything against hydrogen nonsense is good. So much waste, so much additional CO2.
