Featured: Bowie Labyrinth Owl
Came upon some egregious AI owls this week. Most of you enjoyed these previously.
They annoy me because they get mixed in with some potentially good content, but it shows me the feeds don’t check what content they put their name on.
The worst is when they title it “Amazing photograph!” or something that attempts to legitimize it.
Which is the best of the worst this week?
User: Computer, make an owl standing on a windowsill.
Computer: Okay, just let me fire up the ole’ coal powerplant here… And… Voila!
Owl: I’m only half-owl actually. Now give me your credit card information before I fuck up your computer.

It’s so non-owl like to me except the face, yet it’s enough to suggest “owl” moreso than a chicken. The forward facing eyes are what makes me register it as a bird of prey, and the floof shape says owl instead of a hawk or eagle.
Otherwise everything is just so off on this guy. Wrong color, wrong beak, looks like wrong feet, wrong wing feathers.
It looks like someone put the wrong facial features on a silkie.
