Call it a kilt if it makes you feel better. As a person with seven kilts I have no problem correcting people to tell them that’s a skirt if it makes things awkward.

I wear shorts 95% of the time. And every time when it’s super hot and i see someone in a skirt i think: wow this looks so comfortable

I cannot overstate just how absolutely freeing a nice skirt or dress feels. You’re cooler, and you get to do the spinnys, so you’re cooler.
