I was like that, but I really liked Outriders. Tried it with friends, didn’t enjoy it much, enemies were too much of a bullet sponge. So, didn’t continue, but since I liked the world, I gave it a try alone and enjoyed it a lot. Platinumed the game playing solo.
So, while this is still not my preferred genre, I now don’t automatically pass them. Going to give it a try and see how it plays.
Also, Destiny 2 has one of the most satisfying shooting feel, but the story is now so convoluted, couldn’t get into it.
Destiny 2 legit ruined most other shooters for me because the gunplay is so good.
Gunplay! That’s the word I wanted to use! I sat there for two minutes but for some reason the word slipped my mind and didn’t want to come back 😀
I really want them to make Destiny 3, so that new people and get in too. They release these nice trailers for new expansions, and those who play it say they are really great, the story is awesome, but there is no way for new players to get in and understand all that.
IIRC they also made it so old expansions won’t leave now, so make Destiny 3, make it easier for new users to get in, and make it so new user can get in any time and play the whole game, like Final Fantasy XIV. There has been tons of content since it launched, but I can start today and experience all of it.
