I apologize for the ad hominems you’ve been receiving, clearly your opinions aren’t welcome here. But to be fair we get the same attacks used against us by your kind (for example your ad hominem memes against president Biden).
Allow me to offer a logical antithesis instead:
The injustices and historical oppression of minorities resulted in an economic situation less favorable than the majority. To treat the two groups equally, we must first restore the socio-economic situation to a point of equity, which necessarily involves helping those who were previously held back.
Only then can we begin treating both groups equally, when everyone starts at the same level. This is where the idea of “white privilege” comes from - minorities were repressed for over 2 centuries, resulting in an economic disadvantage not so distinctly present within the majority. This is of course generalisation (there are examples of poor cis-het white males and rich minorities), but these outliers are the exception to the general data trend of an evident inequality.
Do you have a better proposal, other than leaving the economic gap between the majority and minorities as is to resolve itself (which would likely take centuries if it happens at all)?
