I know this is quite personal, but does anybody know of a good sideloading backpack? I have a wandrd prvke 31l, and while I like all the organizing I’m unsure of the looks and it’s quite heavy. I have a fjallraven Ulvo 23l and I really like it but it’s maybe a bit too small and it’s a pain to dig up my camera cube/sling underneath from my coat, drinks and food. The Peak Design Everyday pack is expensive and doesn’t look like it works well with the dividers and such.

So I thought maybe there’s a hiking or daypack with side loading option. Those are usually less expensive, have good build quality and with a camera cube can function fine as a gear bag. Is there such a backpack?

I own the prvke 21L: the camera cube is well designed, the roll top is very useful to increase the bag’s capacity, I find it very confortable to carry but I gotta admit it’s on the heavy side and I wished the higher compartment allowed for more organization (but I understand it would get in the way of the “Pro Camera Cube”)

Edit: oops, I understood you were looking at the prvke 31L, not that you already own it, my bad!

Haha, no problem! It’s indeed a bit heavy. I’m also thinking about picking up a 21l to see if that’s better in size and weight. But if you already say it’s heavy, I’m not sure that’s a good idea. The camera cube is great, I can put all my gear in, but it also adds to the weight and size of the bag.
