Just curious on what you prefer. I’ve never really settled myself, but I’ve never tried anything thinner than a 1mm. I would like to try something thinner because 1mms dont feel like they bend enough for me.

    1.5 Dunlop I think. It might be a 2mm. The floppiness of softer ones works against me for fast aggressive stuff.

    .73 mm, and I use flatwounds. I’m pretty bad at playing with a pick, so I tend to play way too hard …

    I got one of these massive, 3mm+ picks that I have no idea how I got it. I rarely use a pick, but when I do I usually go back to that one.

    I either play fingerstyle or ebony wood picks. I’m too goofy and have too sweaty hands for plastic picks. They’re thick af and don’t bend, but the tip is a bit thinner. I own bone picks of the same make, but that rigidity is hard to get a nice sound out of.

    I hardly play at all anymore, but when I was a teenager I would have argued to the death that using a pick on a bass guitar is just wrong.
