When Voyager wrapped up leaving everyone wanting more, pitching some spicy alternate endings could have avoided the All Good Things comparison. But if there’s no extra time to make a finale truly great, expectations shouldn’t be too high for for a Star Trek podcast either. Why exactly is local news suffering? How did the writers’ room launder Neelix’s character? Whose personal development was the most grating? It’s the episode that never says no without a number.
I am not looking for to Enterprise. It was just terrible from what I remember watching it 10 years ago. It takes me out of the sci-fi mood the moment I hear that stupid intro theme song.
Y’know I re-watched it recently and it was much better than I remembered. I still found the Xindi thing kinda boring, but there are a lot of individual Season three episodes that are pretty good. And Season Four is actually really amazing. Maybe give it a chance.
I will definitely give it another try. I’ve been slowly rewatching TNG over the past year and want to get the wife in to watching Voyager and DS9 when I get to those as she’s never watched either. I’m so excited for her to be one of the daily 10,000 every episode!
