I don’t know if the iOS walled garden has any further security measures over Android.
The iOS keyboard situation has 1 massive security measure over android, one that people often think is a “bug” - whenever you enter a password field on iOS it will always switch back to the default keyboard, because it’s the only keyboard that can be guaranteed to be “secure”. People take this as “my keyboard is bugging out and reverting back to the default keyboard! boo apple!”, when in reality it’s apple going “don’t type your login details into some random keyboard that could be logging every keystroke”.
You can install 3rd party keyboards on iOS too to be fair. GIF keyboards etc.
