  • This is why I choose to start early if I can at my job. Last job allowed me to start at 6am and leave at 3pm. It was great. I still had part of the afternoon to do grocery shopping and stuff before everyone was out from their 9-5 jobs. And I always had some sunshine after work during winter months. And the office was quiet. Some of my most productive time was that 80-90m before the next person arrived.

Current job starts at 8am. I’ve got better at enjoying the time before work because I can walk there in 10m. If I had to drive and deal with traffic, I’d be this meme, watching the clock and feeling anxious.

  • The ports are numbered with arrows. Port one’s LED is on the left, port two is beneath port one and has its LED on the right. The two blinking above open ports are for even-numbered ports that are actively plugged in on the bottom row. I dunno why the LED for port five isn’t blinking; maybe the other end of the cable is connected to a device that is powered off.

  • It’s hateful bs, but it isn’t harmful. It’s a stupid take on a current talking point from the orange admin. It’s not picking on anyone. Wait for the actually harmful stuff, like misgendering people and racism and simply downvote this particular dumbass comment. (I’m going by the headline / subj, as I’m already exhausted from this week’s bullshit.)

Bullshit. I voted against my conscience because I knew orange would harm people I love. It wasn’t enough.

Dems didn’t offer anything compelling because they are a failed party that can only drive votes with threats of even worse. It’s pretty easy to not fund a genocide and lie and say it isn’t happening when it clearly is. Dems can blame only themselves for poor turnout.

  • I used to think so after watching the video. I stumbled into watching bodycam videos on YT because they’re like reality tv but real. I now align more with OP after seeing how many of them think that asserting your rights means you’re a smartass who should be dealt with. My goal with police is to be forgotten, not to stand out.

Now, had I knowingly committed a crime, that might be very different. Fortunately, the part of my life when I had to fear police interactions (because I was committing crimes) is in the past. Not that I would invite them today. We all know some of them are sociopaths and I don’t like to gamble.
