Spain was invaded by the Arabs back in the day and were occupied for 800 years. That’s why they look like us, have a lot of Arabic buildings until today and also their language has a lot of Arabic words. I have read the book of the famous Arabic explorer “ibn battootah”. He talked about it a lot in his book. I remember how he described Spanish people as blond with blue eyes. The influence is real and goes back centuries.
