The inevitable minecraft chapter! It is a pretty dystopian minecraft world that Han Fei set up. It’s like a serfdom version of Dolores Umbridge.

Unlike previous chapters, this one didn’t have a translator’s note about the historical figure that this new character was inspired by, so I did a quick search. In this chapter’s case, the livestreamer Han Fei was inspired by the historical Chinese philosopher by the same name (also sometimes called Han Feizi). He is regarded as the most influential thinker within the “Chinese Legalism” school of thought. This philosophy stands in stark opposition of the Confucian school of thought that sought a rule without laws.
