What’s with China and always seeming at odds with the video game industry?
the government is really big on fighting “the corruption of the youth.” That’s why there’s heavy censorship on the content games can have, how long you can play them for, and now how much you can spend on them. It’s regulated like smoking.
They should crack down on it more if anything. Lootboxes and gachas are a curse.
