    Without actors the studios are in a worse spot. I’d suggest the actors and writers get together and produce their own content, gear is cheap and studios don’t own the distribution method anymore.

      Not in the least because “writers and actors producing their own content during a strike” was how Dr. Horrible happened and I still consider its existence a blessing.

      This is how strikes are supposed to work, though. Without the horrible implication of “I am happy anyone is losing their home,” the companies know it’s a race between their bottom line and the workers’ ability to live, and they will always have more money than any one employee. Couch-surfing could be on the table if that’s what it really takes to irritate them.

      Yes but I understand it’s Netflix, Amazon etc who are trying to break the strikes. So there goes your distribution measures.
