    Well, they are just giving her the life she was robbed from, not really forcing her to be human.

      Yes, they did force it to be human. Its body was rejecting the implants and it said “let me rejoin the Borg so I can keep the body I want to have”, and they said “no, tough nuts, you’re human now”, and they had the doctor surgically remove the implants.

      Now, did they have much of a choice? No, it’s not like they could go back to the Borg, and they didn’t think there was a way to save the implants. But did they try? Did they ask the doctor to find a way? Did they put Be’lanna on the problem? No, they gave up just like that. And did they have empathy for what 7/9 lost? Not a shred!
